My son's professional field of interest is extremely competitive. After trying for nearly a year, he still had not gotten an offer. Through the Internship Academy, he learned how to present himself in a positive light and practiced his interview skills before the "real" one. He secured the position and has now been offered a (paid) position with the company. He can finally afford to move out. Thank you!

More and more it seems that the response I hear from my peers when I ask them about their future plans is -- they are unsure about what exact job they will have, but whatever it is they know they'll be good at it. That confidence is a nice thing to have but the path between formal education and getting the job you really want is not clear cut, and the practical experience that is gained by having an internship is unparalleled.....Â
What I observe in this day-and-age of technology and information is a breakdown in face-to-face communication; students need to learn about proper corporate etiquette and job practices if they are to excel and find the career that best suits them, internships provide the educational opportunity to gain such communication skills and develop them in a true life setting.Â
